ADELAIDENOW readers have overwhelmingly voted to keep Maslin Beach open to nudists.
At 2pm 85 per cent of voters, 946 people, said nudists shouldn't be banned from the popular southern suburbs spot in an online poll.
Only 157 people believed the beach should be nudist-free to protect families from the sight of naked bodies.
Fiona of Adelaide said the area is easy to avoid for people concerned about nudists.
"It's pretty easy not to go to that one small section of beach if you can't cope with seeing the human body in its natural state," she said.
NC, also of Adelaide, agreed.
"There are plenty of non-nudists beaches around Adelaide's beautiful coast-line, the only nudist beach in the country shouldn't be shut," they posted.
