A war of words has erupted over Little Congwong beach with some Randwick councillors accusing nudists of "stacking" a recent Courier poll to assist their campaign to have the beach declared clothing optional.

Little Congwong beach, which is reached only by walking through the Botany Bay National Park, has been used by naturists for decades, but each summer a fierce debate ignites between naturists and a handful of locals who want the beach back.
